Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms stayed cool during a hot week, convenient location behind a local pub but with poor lighting for evening activities. The service included a welcome drink and happy hour. The hotel's location was ideal for hikers offering quick access to trails and after-hike showers. The dining options were known to be overpriced without breakfast available, while lunches were offered. The facilities offered were suitable for a short stay, and access to a nearby hotel for meals made unwinding easy.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfy, plus the convenience of being located near the restaurant made it the perfect stop before heading up to Mt Hotham. I'll definitely be returning. However, it would have been even better if the heaters were turned on before my arrival.
The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms, exactly as advertised. While it could have benefitted from having a drying room and a separate area for heating ski gear, my stay was pleasant overall. The service was excellent, with a nice touch of a welcome drink and happy hour. The location was ideal for exploring Mt Feathertop and convenient for activities in Harrietville. The dining experience, although without breakfast, was overpriced, but the Neapolitan pizza was a highlight. The facilities were decent, although lacking some amenities, and the price was reasonable given the value for money.
